Robert W. Christmann, New York State Leadership Group Executive Director, has been re-elected as the 2020 President of the National School Development Council (NSDC).
Based on its reputation in New York State, the NYSLG was contacted in July, 2020, by the Maryland State Department of Education to submit an RFP for their service request.
Very recently, the White House released fresh federal guidance on prayer in public schools.
Congratulations to Springville-Griffith Institute Superintendent, Kimberly Moritz, on her election to serve as the NYSCOSS Commissioner’s Advisory Council Western Region Representative. Also, congratulations go out to her alternate, Michael Cornell, Hamburg Superintendent.
The New York State Leadership Group was requested by the Lackawanna City School District to complete a comprehensive study of its Special Education Program.
Following her retirement on January 1, 2020, Barbara A. Battaglia has agreed to become a NYSLG consultant. Barb is currently the Director of Data Research, Accountability, Assessments, CIO and Central Registration for the Kenmore-Tonawanda UFSD.
All of the programs sponsored by the New York State Leadership Group have been approved through SUNY Buffalo State to receive professional development credits. Participants in our programs will be granted Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) hours. Registration for these credits will be held on site for each program.
