The SUNY Buffalo State Educational Leadership (EDL) Program is in the process of creating an informational video on how future administrators are being prepared as a result of its 30 graduate hour program. For many years NYSLG Executive Director Robert Christmann has served on the Board of Directors of the NFIEC non-profit organization. This committee brings together representatives in their collaborative efforts to educate students about employment opportunities and programs that are based on service contractors.

The New York State Leadership Group Executive Director, Robert W. Christmann, was requested by the Rochester City School District Board of Education to conduct a professional development workshop. The agenda included Board-Superintendent Roles and Responsibilities, a preliminary superintendent evaluation discussion and a district goal setting review.
The New York State Leadership Group and PLC Associates, headquartered in Rochester, combined their resources to complete an application to be designated as an Independent Receiver under SED guidelines.

Following her retirement on January 1, 2020, Barbara A. Battaglia has agreed to become a NYSLG consultant. Barb is currently the Director of Data Research, Accountability, Assessments, CIO and Central Registration for the Kenmore-Tonawanda UFSD.
