On Thursday, March 21, 2019, the New York State Leadership Group co-sponsored a School Safety Conference on the campus of SUNY Buffalo. With a participation number of nearly 1500, attendees were updated by the United States Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center on the latest practices involving creating higher levels of school security.
The New York State Leadership Group has been requested by the Lackawanna City School District to complete a comprehensive study of its Special Education Program. Serving as the New York State Leadership Group consultant for this work will be Dr. Timothy O’Neill, retired New York State BOCES and District Superintendent.
In mid-April of 2018, New York State Leadership Group Executive Director Robert Christmann was requested by the Mt. Markham Board of Education to facilitate a workshop on BOE-Superintendent relations and roles/responsibilities.
On May 29, 2018, New York State Leadership Group Executive Director, Robert W. Christmann, was requested by the Rochester City School District Board of Education to conduct a professional development workshop.
On November 16, 2017 the Middletown City School District Board of Education selected the New York State Leadership Group to lead its search process following the retirement announced of Dr. Kenneth Eastwood. The New York State Leadership Group was chosen from several educational firms which completed responses to Middletown’s Request for Proposals regarding the open search process.
